Housed in the Pittsburg-Camp County Public Library's local history collection are: a Camp County War Veterans Yearbook; Center Point School and Community information, including Center Point Yearbooks; vintage personal scrapbooks; photographs; family histories; local churches and public schools yearbooks; and other historical information on Pittsburg and Camp County, Texas. The Northeast Texas Rural Heritage Museum is housed in a former railroad depot and features exhibits on the first 10,000 years of settlement in Northeast Texas. In addition to exhibits covering topics such as agriculture, communication, and transportation, the museum features an award winning exhibit on the 1898 Ezekiel Airship, including a large model of the early flying machine. The museum's digital collection includes historic photographs and documents relating to the community of Pittsburg.
