Many of the collections were created through partnerships with area public libraries, museums, and historical associations, which were facilitated by grant funds, while others are selected items that have been digitized from the Special Collections Department of Texas A&M University-Commerce Libraries. The goal of our digitization effort is to preserve, and provide sustained online access to materials that were previously inaccessible due to medium, format, or location.
